Special Services

Our Special Services staff support students with disabilities in all of our buildings. It is our goal to teach skills and provide supports that enable all students to learn in their natural school environment to the greatest degree possible.

This website includes resources and information to increase knowledge of our programs and services as well as increase awareness of special education procedures and laws.

Individual Education Program (IEP)

MPS is implementing the new Michigan IEP this school year. An Individualized Education Plan is designed by an IEP team when a child is first found eligible to receive Special Education services. Learn more →

Specific Learning Disabilities
